Elemental Motion
Turning inorganic and organic movements in to different animated elements combining them to a unified piece.
This project was for an online challenge combining two things that are opposites of each other in one illustration with the optional use of animation. the illustration shows organic and inorganic motions and shapes as the main elements. The idea required many sketches experimenting with the elements that could be used, like the circular liquids and grids, to represent nature and man made objects. Rough animations of the sketches were made to experiment with elements that work best for the theme. Many of the inorganic elements, static or choppy in their motion, further show the robotic or unnatural feel of inorganic things in contrast with the smooth animation of the natural objects.
